FillUpWatch is designed to collect public pump-display observations, not personal information.

What we collect in fill-up reports

A report can include station name, city, state, fuel grade, displayed total paid, gallons pumped, the calculated per-gallon price, and submission time.

Contact messages

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide so we can respond. Contact messages are visible only in the protected admin inbox and are not published with fill-up data.

What we do not collect

• Vehicle plates, photos, or identifying descriptions.
• Payment methods, account details, or precise contributor location.
• A customer identity from a pump observation.

Abuse prevention

We use a human-verification challenge and rate limits. The rate-limit system stores a salted cryptographic hash of the submitting IP address, not the address itself.

Only report values visible on a public pump display. Do not submit information that identifies another person.
